Terms of Service

The service

QoreGlow is a software service that lets a restaurant publish its menu, generate permanent table QR codes, receive guest orders at the table, manage those orders in the kitchen and on the floor, handle service requests, and keep one accumulating bill per table visit. QoreGlow provides the technology only; it does not prepare, sell or deliver food.

Accounts and authorised users

A restaurant account is created by its owner, who may add staff and assign roles. The restaurant is responsible for who it grants access to, for keeping sign-in credentials confidential, for removing access when a staff member leaves, and for all activity carried out under its accounts. Accounts must not be shared between individuals.

Restaurant content and accuracy

The restaurant is solely responsible for the content it publishes through the platform, including item names and descriptions, images, prices, taxes shown to guests, availability, ingredient and allergen information, and any nutritional claims. The restaurant confirms it holds the rights to the content it uploads and that the content is lawful and not misleading.

Food, service and the guest relationship

An order placed by a guest is transmitted through the platform to the restaurant. The contract for the food and service is between the guest and the restaurant. The restaurant is responsible for accepting or declining orders, for preparation, hygiene and food safety, for allergen handling, for service at the table, for collecting payment, and for resolving complaints, disputes and any refunds relating to its orders.

Payment at the restaurant

The platform currently supports payment at the counter and payment to a waiter. It does not process online card payments and does not hold or transfer guest funds. Amounts shown in the app are a record of what the restaurant's own staff mark as paid; the actual collection of money happens at the restaurant.

QR codes and table use

Each table QR code contains a secure random token issued by the platform. Restaurants must display QR codes only at the table they were issued for, must not alter or duplicate them, and should report any code they believe has been copied or misused. One physical table has one active visit and one accumulating bill, regardless of how many guest phones scan the same code.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access another restaurant's data, accounts or table sessions.
• Do not probe, scan, overload or interfere with the service or its security controls.
• Do not upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content, or malicious code.
• Do not use the platform to send unsolicited messages or to collect data about guests beyond what the service provides.
• Do not resell, sublicense or copy the platform, or attempt to reverse engineer it.

Availability and maintenance

QoreGlow aims to keep the service available and reliable, and may carry out maintenance, updates and improvements. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the product develops. Planned work that is expected to interrupt service will be communicated where reasonably possible. No specific uptime commitment is given unless it is agreed in writing with the restaurant.

Intellectual property

The platform, its software, design and brand remain the property of QoreGlow. The restaurant keeps ownership of its own content and grants QoreGlow the limited right to host, display and process that content for the purpose of providing the service.

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended where an account is used in breach of these terms, where the service or other users are put at risk, where required by law, or where a subscription is not settled. Where circumstances allow, notice will be given and the restaurant will be able to correct the issue. A restaurant may stop using the service at any time; the effect of ending a subscription is described in the Subscription Terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an as-available basis. QoreGlow is not responsible for the quality, safety or legality of food and service provided by a restaurant, for content a restaurant publishes, for amounts collected offline, or for losses caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Any financial limitation of liability will be set out in the commercial agreement with the restaurant.

Governing law

QoreGlow's initial operating market is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The governing law and the forum for resolving disputes are stated in the contracting details published with these terms, and the definitive wording is confirmed in the commercial agreement signed with each restaurant.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service develops. The effective date and version at the top of the page identify the current wording, and continued use after a material change means the updated terms are accepted.
